We went to Restaurant Eugene for our 7th Anniversary dinner. For some crazy reason I took a photo of everything except the main course, ugh. Holeman and Finch is next to it, and we have always wanted to go there, so yay. Next time we are going for the burger!
Amuse Bouche & an Old Fashioned made with Bulliet
Green Garlic soup, this was really good, it had English peas, and chèvre and duck fat croutons.
Chad got a mushroom plate it had about 5 different types of mushrooms a barley type of brown rice and some broth, it was excellent.
For our main courses, sorry for not taking pictures, they were both beautifully presented. I had the Rib Eye and Chad had the lamb.
For dessert we had a caramel fondant served in a milk foam, and compliments of the chef, he served us a lemongrass creme brûlée! Both were sooooo gooood.
The last course, because I don’t know what to officially call it. We got tiny little desserts.
A blueberry macaroon, a gumdrop and a lemon grass and black pepper cookie.
Afterwards we went over to Holeman & Finch for a cocktail. A Basil Hayden Old Fashioned, and Chad had wine.
